Hey, yes this makes sense, but in general is it possible to create an invoice with both one-time items and subscriptions?

You can do the opposite though: given the invoice for a recurring payment (Subscription), add a one-time invoice item

As mentioned, you can have a Subscription and add an invoice item as a one-time item on the next scheduled invoice
