@sharp isle no that's not possible today. Only one bank account per currency on a Stripe account

Okay got it

#

Is there a way to change that one account via API?

leaden birch
#

no that is not possible

Ok

#

Another idea - I could have a connect account representing the other bank account

#

So then I'd transfer from the platform account to the connect account, and payout from the connect account to account #2

Oh interesting

#

So it's basically like a bank? Is it FDIC insured?

#

Part of the funds are security deposits, so we don't want them co-mingled and want them to go to a specific Bank of America account (or other FDIC insured account) directly

#

And we would basically do a transfer from our platform account to Stripe treasury?

#

In other words, in Stripe terms, it would be a transfer vs. a payout, correct?

It'd be an OutboundTransfer in that case but yes. I can't speak to the rest of your question, I'd recommend working with our support team to discuss Treasury overall: https://support.stripe.com/contact

Okay thanks

#

And one last question - back to using a Connect account as a pathway to our second bank account. Is there a way to "top up" a connect account, similar to the way you can top up the platform account?
