@sharp isle no that's not possible today. Only one bank account per currency on a Stripe account
halbert_payout-multiple
no that is not possible
Ok
Another idea - I could have a connect account representing the other bank account
So then I'd transfer from the platform account to the connect account, and payout from the connect account to account #2
yeah that could work. Or you can use Stripe Treasury if you're in the US https://docs.stripe.com/treasury
Oh interesting
So it's basically like a bank? Is it FDIC insured?
Part of the funds are security deposits, so we don't want them co-mingled and want them to go to a specific Bank of America account (or other FDIC insured account) directly
And we would basically do a transfer from our platform account to Stripe treasury?
In other words, in Stripe terms, it would be a transfer vs. a payout, correct?
It'd be an OutboundTransfer in that case but yes. I can't speak to the rest of your question, I'd recommend working with our support team to discuss Treasury overall: https://support.stripe.com/contact
