Hello! That's not possible, no. You should get rid of the existing Payment Intent and replace it with an Invoice (the Invoice will create its own Payment Intent).

So why after the failure of the payment, the payment intent goes to requires_payment_method status ? It should be possible to somehow try a second payment attempt on it

Some payment declines are considered terminal and do not result in a retry.
