âąď¸ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

Yes
Is it possible to include details from the app on the receipt?
I guess can I dynamically add details such as address if the customer is paying for home services
There are only a few things you can customize on the receipt that Stripe sends: https://docs.stripe.com/receipts?payment-ui=direct-api#customizing-receipts
if you want additional information then you'd likely want to design your own receipts and send those to the customers instead
How do I send my own?
The way I can think of is,
- Disable the receipt stripe sends
- Listen to
payment_intent.succeeded - Retrieve payment details and design your own receipt
- Send it to the customer email via your server-side code (you may need custom coding there)
ok so theres no way to add metadata to a stripe receipt
No, the only data you can add is through description field on the PaymentIntent.
