Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹ always_invoice is the correct proration_behavior to immediately Invoice the Customer for the prorated changes to their Subscription.

The behavior you described when using that also sounds like expected proration behavior, is that not what you were expecting to happen? If not, can you tell me more about the behavior you desire?

To be clear are you saying that it should work with always invoice and invoice set to now?

I'm not sure what you mean by "invoice set to now", but yes, always_invoice is the right setting for the scenario you described in your question.

prorate date

Oh, yeah

pale geyser
#

Do I need to set prorate date to now I can't seem to understand the purpose of that from the docs

tepid vapor

You don't need to, no. It defaults to now if not explicitly set to a specific timestamp.

Got it thanks
