Hi 👋 some clarifying questions. What is a "payment formular"? What are you referring to by "other view", how do you see one "view" versus the other?
I see them, and don't understand how you got to one versus the other. Or what the concern is. It looks like a payment method type hasn't been selected in the left one, so we don't know what fields to display to the customer yet.
But its the same link to two different views?
Yes 19% tax is right...
So, how to solve it?
Both views are after opening the link...nothing klicked in both screenshots...
really confusing for our customers
I need more information to be able to answer that.
How are you able to reproduce this behavior?
We're likely detecting something about the browser that is loading the session, and adapting what we show accordingly, but it's hard to say with any degree of certainty without more context on how this was encountered.
Its occuring on Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox on my MacBook. Don´t think that it is about the browser?
What kind of information do you need?
I sent the payment Link and two Screenshots
Did you access the link from multiple computes or countries? Are you using a VPN as part of your testing to change the location you appear to be connecting from?
Oh, the one on the right has a country selected, so we can calculate tax there it seems.
I'll report to our teams that it looks like there are times when the Checkout Session created by a Payment Link sometimes doesn't select a default type for a Payment Method, so that can be investigated further.
Yes, because if its occurs like this screenshots our customers have no chance to choose a country and get the right tax..
They do once they select the type of payment method to use
And after refreshing the browser it changes to that view
Where the card payment method type is selected, so we're able to show the payment form.
yes, got your point, but still not clear why different views after opening the link...
some older customers will not realize what to do
We'll look into that behavior.
