hey there - taking a look

#

What are you trying to do with these updates? Is this working for other requests?

Hello! One user of our system has a Stripe account with a mismatch between default_currency and their bank account currency. Stripe support informed us that this cannot be updated through the dashboard, so we have to make an API call to fix the mismatch on this user's account

Yes, we make a number of other API requests, but this is the first to return an auth error

Do you specifically do this currency update for other accounts? Or is something new you're trying?

This default_currency update is new, we've never tried it for another account

I belive your express account holder should contact stripe directly, and their payout account is part of the Stripe-managed relationship

Okay, I can ask our customer support team to encourage the user to contact Stripe directly. I am curious though - how can this field be updated by API? It shows as an option in the Stripe API documentation, and we're not using a restricted key. So is there no way to actually update the field via API?

It would be updatable for custom accounts, or where no dashboard is provided by Stripe

Okay, thank you. Is it possible to revisit this thread and get further help in the future, if necessary for this issue?

Yep, it'll be closed but you can review later if needed
