đ Welcome to your new thread!
â˛ď¸ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.
âąď¸ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.
đ This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1240340788852818074

Hello! You can tell the difference between live and test Events by looking at the livemode property on the Events: https://docs.stripe.com/api/events/object#event_object-livemode
Both environments are test environments.
What I would like Stripe to do is to only send to "stage" env events that belong to "stage" env.
That's not really possible then, you would need to use two separate Stripe test accounts instead of sharing a single one.
ok
thank you
one more question
is it possible to add metadata to the event that my webhook endpoint receives from stripe?
In many cases, yes, you can add metadata to the object the Event contains.
but not in all cases, right?
