hello! gimme a while to take a look
hmmm, afaik it's not possible to create an external account with a PaymentMethod. What you'll want to do is to use the Card Element instead to create a Token.
you'll need to modify this guide to fit what you need : https://docs.stripe.com/payments/card-element - this sample is made to accept a payment (not to create a Token)
I see. But this card element is theoretically able to generate a token somehow?
you need to create a Token using https://docs.stripe.com/js/tokens/create_token?type=cardElement
that's web api
oh wait I it here in the react native API https://stripe.dev/stripe-react-native/api-reference/index.html#createToken
Documentation for @stripe/stripe-react-native
I see it here**
looks like that should work
thanks for your help!
