๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1239617680516841473

HI ๐Ÿ‘‹

We do not guarantee the specific timing of webhook firing. It can depend on both internal-to-Stripe issues as well as larger global networking issues.

So subscriptions might renew and their webhooks fire at any time of the day? It's not like roughly the same time every month?

#

I don't care about specifics, just wondering if this will vary wildly month to month

#

Will my customers be charged at 6am one month and then 10pm the next?

It shouldn't vary wildly but you should not depend on a specific timeframe either.

#

We process renewals based on UTC times but we also process a lot of payments so sometimes it can take a little while

Yeah sometimes we have manual adjustments we perform after a webhook fired, it's rare, and not something we're programming for.

#

That answers my question well enough though, thanks
