on your website it says that it's in private beta and we can ask for the early access?

We don't really know the timeline on the availability of betas or product releases – perhaps they're just gathering interest from users whilst building the feature

so right now the only way to pause the payouts/payments is by going on the stripe dashboard and making the changes right?

or you could set the account to manual payouts and then never call the API to initiate a payout, potentially.

they wouldn't. I'm a bit confused, isn't the ask to stop them receiving payouts?

yeah but only in certain cases when they don't make transactions for maybe say 60 days

I see. Then yeah, maybe that beta helps, otherwise use manual payouts(https://docs.stripe.com/connect/manual-payouts) and implement logic to track activity on the accounts and call/do not call the API to create payouts.
