Metadata from one object doesn't pass from one object to another except for a few exceptions: https://docs.stripe.com/metadata#exceptions
You'd need to retrieve the transfer ID and set the metadata manually on the transfer object itself
Thanks for your explanation.
Which is the perfect timing or webhook I can use to retrieve the transfer ID and update it?
Transfer ID will only be available after payment intent is succeeded. I'd recommend listening to payment_intent.succeeded event and update the metadata after that
Thanks. How can I find the Transfer ID in the payment_intent.succeeded event? Is it in the event payload?
After payment_intent.succeeded, an additional Charge retrieval request can be made from latest_charge (ch_xxx). Transfer ID can be found under transfer in Charge object: https://docs.stripe.com/api/charges/object#charge_object-transfer

Oh right, the charges. Thanks!
