Currently we don't offer any way of adding a test clock to an existing customer through the API, but we do allow you to do add it to existing subscriptions through the dashboard (which also adds the test clock to the customer)

If I add that test clock in the dashboard to a customer - can I reference and update it via the API?

You're not able to update a customer to add or change a test clock through the API, but once the test clock has been added through the dashboard you should be able to update the test clock itself through the api
