👋 Welcome to your new thread!

⏲️ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

⏱️ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

🔗 This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1237823201061376173

Have you ruled out them refreshing the page or reopening the link in a different window? As far as I can tell, if the page remains open, it should still be valid (but it's possible Stripe expires it after a dormant period for security)

It is very possible they refresh the page, or click on the link more than once, but if the status is still "requires_input", it doesn0t make sense that the link is expired.

#

The next state that shows up is "abandoned", and there it does make sense that the link would be expired...

#

or if the verification was complete or consent not granted..

#

but if the status is "requires_input", I don't thknk it should expire, even if opened in a different window or clicked twice.

#

I see no info in the doc relating to this, writing here as a long shot

It would make sense that it expires if they reopen the page, since this is a high-security workflow. The page can only be opened once

#

Don't get me wrong, the UX here is not great, but the alternative is less security for people's sensitive documentation

understood

#

thanks!

#

its just weird that the expiration is previous to any input...so really doesn't make sense there...

#

it would make sense to expire the link once that actually upload something..

#

anyway, I guess that is that

Yeah, I can definitely understand the frustration. Anything else I can help with?
