If you use Custom account hosted onboarding, then the onboarding flow is basically the same for both: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/custom/hosted-onboarding
Sure, but i mean with the rest of the logic. Everything that is done with Express is also done for the Custom Account, except the Express dashboard
With Custom accounts, you're going to have to build a more robust system of your own for making changes to the connect accounts. If you are already looking at using hosted onboarding and you don't want a more white labeled experience, then just use Express. Otherwise, use Custom
I had already realised this but i'm trying to understand the system better. For example, expect the Express Dashboard, if I am thinking of using Connect onboard in Custom Account, the difference between two account types should be minimal. If I understand correctly, the difference involes the account "changes", right?
Yeah, you have to do a lot of things on behalf of a Custom account that you don't have to do with Express. I would recommend creating test accounts and looking at the Express dashboard to get an idea of things you might have to do on behalf of Custom
I can't really just list them all in this chat thread unfortunately
