When you do want the payment to fail? During the checkout? Or in subsequent off-session payments?

btw i'm using stripe hosted page , I want it to fail during the checkout

For that you can use any of the Declined payments test cards: https://docs.stripe.com/testing#declined-payments

This shows error in the same screen without redirecting back to my product page
but i found the solution to my issue there is a back button that takes me back to the return url within stripe UI
