Hello
Hi
The ask here is whether the S700 supports the Terminal React Native SDK?
Yes
Gotcha, I think so, but let me check
I don't see mentions from the tutorials except in S700 specs that it support React Native. We have ordered S700 devkits on the basis that we can develop app ( or port our existing React apps) using React Native SDK
Yeah we indicate it is supported with the React Native SDK: https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/setup-reader/stripe-reader-s700
Correct but only Android SDK (Kotlin) looks like it supported according to the tutorials ( I linked above)
Ah sorry
I see
One sec
Checking with a colleague. Give us a few minutes to confirm
Okay yeah currently only Native Android Apps are supported, sorry for the confusion.
Oh
Wait wait
Haha sorry, one sec. I think it actually is live with a few users on React Native already so we are looking at that
Awesome. Can you really confirm? Are they using this SDK https://github.com/stripe/stripe-terminal-react-native possibly ?
if that is true, then our company are not blocked on development for S700 perse. We have React Native experience
Thank you, Yay!. I had my suspicious ( mentioned in question first time). We are going to use it but just to be clear , we don't need to contact stripe-terminal-betas@stripe.com to sign up using this SDK, right ?
Correct, it is in public beta
Appreciated, we are going to explore the SDK. We will be happy to provide feedback as well. Thanks a lot for helping meout here
