Hello! I don't know of a workaround other than using Usage Records instead of Meters. As you mentioned, the feature you're describing isn't supported by Meters yet.
That requires us to set up a subscription for each customer that we want to use it right? Just a bit frustrating cause we have some customers that are usage based while some are not. Annoying to have to manually handle that versus if we had MAX meter we could just send the usage for all our customers and let stripe use it or not depending on the product the customer has
I'm not sure what you mean by requiring a Subscription for each Customer; it depends on your specific use case and business requirements, which I'm not familiar with, but it sounds like you've already explored both Usage Records and Meters as potential options, correct?
Usage Record is tied to a subscription item. So like if I want to keep track of a customers usage I have to create that subscription first and then send usage for that customers subscription.
Vs in an indeal world. I can send the metered values for all our customers. And then my billing department can decide which customers have products that use the meter. That way tech team does not have to worry about who uses the meter values
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, that's correct.
Is there any news or beta testing of coming soon features? Like when should we expect to see the MAX feature that the docs says is coming soon
