Not sure offhand which setting the customer portal pulls from, but I recommend turning link off under every category here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/link and also in the payment methods page here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods. Let me know if that doesn't work.

Interesting! yeah it has options for some but not all pages it seems

floral mesa
#

Yeah uncheck all

#

I think it might pull from checkout or something

testing time โ€ฆ

So I guess if we can't specify it with Billing Portal config, it's either

  • turn off Link entirely (not sure who enabled it, could be someone with our organization)
  • tell bosses they'll have to re-think the internal processes around showing expiry dates, last4
floral mesa
#

Yeah it's a global setting

acoustic trench
#

Tried turning off those "Supported integrations" checks, but it still shows on the Billing Portal. So I guess it would need to be taken off entirely. But I'll check with bosses before fiddling with that setting ๐Ÿ˜„

floral mesa
#

Yeah from what I remember it's one of those above settings that disables it in the portal

#

I think it's checkout

related to this, it's the first time I try and run a scheduled payment on a Link card

#

but as far as I can tell from this request, everything about the request itself was ok, but the payment declined for reasons like insufficient funds (?)

floral mesa
#

Yeah declines happen sometimes

#

You'll just need to have the customer talk to their bank to find out why

#

That looks to just be a generic decline, so not sure the reason

acoustic trench
#

ok sounds good! At least it didn't complain on wrong usage, or something. So I guess we could accept those Link cards as long as Customer Service and Bosses know the implications ๐Ÿ‘

#

thanks a lot!
