- Currently there isn't a way to extend the expiration beyond 48 hours - is there a specific reason you need this?
yes, just in case we don't capture the payment within 48 hours after tax calculation
how can we get the tax transaction record?
I'd recommend creating the Tax Transaction as soon as you auth the payment, and then if you end up not capturing or only capturing partially you'd do do a Tax Transaction reversal (https://docs.stripe.com/api/tax/transactions/create_reversal)
how will this be displayed on the tax report?
as reversal or not displayed at all?
and are there any fees associated with this reversal?
It would be displayed as a reversal, and no, I don't think there are fees associated w/ reversals (https://support.stripe.com/questions/understanding-stripe-tax-pricing)
