Hello

#

Can you clarify?

stark surge
cunning latch
#

No, that is Dashboard-only.

stark surge
#

how do we like know if it is authenticated already?

#

like verified

#

cause they dont have access to the dashboard, so for our side we always manually add their domain?

cunning latch
#

You are talking about Express/Custom Connected Accounts here?

this email from stripe

We're writing to inform you about an upcoming change to the custom email domain setup. You're receiving this message because you're currently sending emails from a custom email domain, and your assetdatamanager.com domain doesn't have a valid DMARC policy.

What's changing

Starting in February 2024, Google and Yahoo are rolling out a set of changes to fight spam. One requirement for bulk email senders is to authenticate emails using both SPF and DKIM methods, along with a valid DMARC policy.

Stripe already authenticates the emails sent from your custom domain with SPF and DKIM. To fully comply with these new requirements, it's now required for you to maintain a valid DMARC policy to use a custom email domain.

What you need to do

We kindly request you to publish a DMARC policy for your domain as soon as possible. This will ensure that your emails continue to be delivered to Google and Yahoo mail users without disruption. Refer to our documentation to learn how to configure a DMARC policy.

If you don't complete this by 10 Apr 2024, your emails will start to be sent from stripe.com instead of your custom email domain.

I would like to know if there is an api call to configure such or how can we configure by not doing it manually in the dashboard

cunning latch
#

Yeah there is no API for this. The only way is via your Dashboard and it will indicate verified there when that is the case.

stark surge
#

hmm, so we really have to do it manually?

cunning latch
#

You only do it once, so yes.

#

I'm not sure I really understand the confusion here or why you need an API?

stark surge
#

so we can add custom domains here

cunning latch
#

Yes, you can see already that you have a custom domain enabled there

#

But you could add a different one via that page if you so desire

stark surge
#

I understand, I am thinking the other customers

#

*about

#

because they do not have access to this dashboard

cunning latch
#

What do you mean by "other customers"?

#

I asked above -- are you talking about Express/Custom Connected Account users?

#

Custom domains should not be relevant for them at all.

stark surge
#

No I'm not talking about Express/Custom Connected Accounts. Custom Domains is what I am asking but anyway I got what I need there is no api to create custom domains. Thank you

cunning latch
#

Okay feel free to clarify what you mean by "other customers" and we can chat through the confusion. But really everyone where this is pertinent has access to that page in the Dashboard and can set up their custom domain that way.
