Hi there 👋 you can, but let me double check whether you need to move to a newer API version to be able to do so.
Can you try adding the pending_invoice_item parameter to the Invoice creation request, and set it to exclude?

Yes, it helps. When I've added pending_invoice_item=exclude, invoice was successfully created

I don't think you can force the docs to display as though they were for a different API version.
