๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1231965946978111550

Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹ I believe this is referring to the difference between Disputes our core resource, and Disputes the Issuing object type. Could you point me to where you're seeing those terms used, so I can double check they're referring to what I think they are?

Both arise when a Customer disputes a charge, but they indicate you should take different actions based on whether you're the merchant or issuer in the scenario.

Are you planning to use Stripe Issuing?

Ah, yeah, that's talking about issuing_dispute.* Events and charge.dispute.* Events. If you're not going to be using Stripe Issuing, you can ignore the issuing_dispute.* Events, they won't be relevant.
