we currently don't support the flow you're implementing using Checkout Sessions

instead you can use the Customer Portal with deep links https://docs.stripe.com/customer-management/portal-deep-links to get the user to a subscription update flow for example

oh ok. I'm also trying doing a billingportal with flow payment_method_update which is better than nothing, but doesnt support adding promo codes at the same time :/ Also doesnt show what the user will pay

but better than nothing, thanks for confirming it's not supported with checkout, i was not sure 🙂

you can use the subscription_update_confirm flow

#

it will give you all the features you want (promo-code, add payment method, showing the price, etc.)
