👋 Welcome to your new thread!

Hello

#

When you say evt_1, evt_2 here are you referring to the ordering of Events?

Hi @compact kelp
I'm just referring to 2 different event IDs.

#

The events are occurring on 2 different Invoices.

Okay can you provide the actual IDs then so we can talk about this more tangibly? Really hard to discuss in the hypothetical here since there are so many variations

Can you give me a moment ?

Hi @compact kelp Thanks for joining in. and your quick response.
Regarding sharing the IDs, I'm in a bit of a situation.
So, this issue is with one of our customers, and i'm not sure if I can share the ID of the records which belong to our customer here yet.
I may have to get back to them and ask for their permission or ask them instead to open a Discord ticket here with the issue.

In the meantime, I want to know, if there some sensitive data involved, what is a correct channel to share that information.
Should we mail Stripe support for that or is it safe to share here as well ?

If you need a secure channel then going through our Support team (https://support.stripe.com/contact/login) is the correct method. However, object IDs overall aren't sensitive since no one can do anything with them without your secret key (which should never be shared).

#

But yeah, if you aren't comfortable sharing IDs here then that's fine and best to contact our Support team for help
