๐ Welcome to your new thread!
โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.
โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.
๐ This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1227571674304614400

๐ happy to help
thank you
unfortunately using OAuth with Express is deprecated
instead create a new account
yes that's why we have updated to the new AccountService.CreateAsync()
but as part of the onboarding flow is there not a way for them to select an existing account the same way they can for Standard accounts?
well an Express account is 'owned' by a platform, it can't be shared between platforms.
if the user enters their existing email address into the onboarding and they have other Stripe accounts then AFAIK the new Express account created gets linked to their user account and appears in their account dropdown in the Dashboard. I think.
for Standard it definitely does work that way (see https://support.stripe.com/questions/legal-entity-sharing)
