Hi 👋 where are you storing your metadata? Is it on the Subscription object you create? If so, customer.subscription.updated may be a better fit, that will be generated whenever the Subscription moves to its next billing period.

@glacial escarp every object as their own metadata mostly so it will not be on the PaymentIntent's Events. What you should do is listen to the invoice.paid Event which is sent every time an Invoice is paid. An Invoice has the subscription_details[metadata] property which reflects the metadata on the Subscription at the time of the Invoice creation https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoices/object#invoice_object-subscription_details-metadata
