Hi 👋 shipping address is a requirement for some payment method types that the Payment Element can't directly handle collecting. You will need to collect those details on the side when required to do so. You can use our Address Element in shipping mode to help with that.
The Payment Element's change Events will tell you what Payment Method has been selected within the value field they include:

You can hook on that to know when to display a shipping address form to your customers.
