Stripe users can process charges in the following list of currencies with these exceptions:

  • You can only charge Brazilian cards in BRL

You can charge non-BR cards in other currencies

A similar restriction existings for MX accounts & MX cards: domestic transactions can onyl be charged in MXN

Whether other currencies can be charged will depend on the card/issuer, if you have specific errors for those our support team can help you take a look

If you're doing that from outside mexico, it would be international

If you had a mexico stripe account you'd be required to charge an MX card in MXN and yes it would be a domestic payment, but please contact our support team for more questions about this: https://support.stripe.com/contact
