The QuickStart Doc is correct. It's an array of objects
its a nullable object with 4 different attributes and one of those attributes is line_items.data
Where do you see this?
if you go to https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/object#checkout_session_object-line_items it says the line_items is a nullable object and has 4 child attributes
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
So I thought that adding a product to line_items would involve accessing the data property of line_items (line_items.data) then adding the object
That's the Session object
You would want to look at the Create Checkout Sesssion API https://docs.stripe.com/api/checkout/sessions/create#create_checkout_session-line_items
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
Which aligns with the QuickStart Doc
Session object is the response coming back from the Create Checkotu Session API request
oh
Thanks
So are child parameters the parameters of each element in the array? Is that what that means
Yes correct
Ok. Just curious, what is the difference when the docs describes something as child attributes vs child parameters?
