What version of the python library are you using?

You might be on an older version that doesn't have that param

Sorry I found my error - i was using "verification_method="instant", as a direct method on the create( ), instead of in the payment_method_options. However I am still seeing the optoin for manual verification. will check the version of the python lib now

I got past that initial exception - but I am still not seeing the behaviour I want (still not seeing "instant" as the only optoin)

ok i have it working now. had the param set to the wrong value, once I de-duplicated the places I had it set in
