Hey, the code:
import Stripe from 'stripe';
const stripe = new Stripe('test key');
const endpointSecret = 'secret :)';
import { headers } from "next/headers"
export async function POST(req: Request) {
const body = await req.text()
const signature = headers().get("Stripe-Signature") as string
let event: Stripe.Event
try {
event = stripe.webhooks.constructEvent(
body,
signature,
endpointSecret
)
} catch (error) {
return new Response(`Webhook Error: ${error.message}`, { status: 400 })
}
const session = event.data.object as Stripe.Checkout.Session
if (event.type === "checkout.session.completed") {
const subscription = await stripe.subscriptions.retrieve(
session.subscription as string
)
console.log("๐ ~ POST ~ subscription:", subscription)
}
if (event.type === "invoice.payment_succeeded") {
const subscription = await stripe.subscriptions.retrieve(
session.subscription as string
)
console.log("๐ ~ POST ~ subscription:", subscription)
}
return new Response(null, { status: 200 })
}
This might be due to the product being one-time-purchase and NOT a subscription. Can that be the case?
