Hi 👋 we aren't too familiar with email functionality in this forum, but my understanding is that most email functionality is suppressed in testmode. Those settings should work as long as their turned on for the account processing the payment.
You can get the link to the Hosted Invoice Page from the Invoice object in the API if you'd prefer:
