Here is some more context on my use-case:
I'd like to allow my customers (Connected Accounts via Stripe Treasury) to set up a single payment method that they can use for both:
- Paying the monthly SaaS fee for using my platform (which is managed through a Stripe Subscription object), and
- Initiating inbound/outbound transfers to move money into/out of the Treasury financial accounts
However, it seems there is no way to link a Stripe Customer to a Stripe Connected Account and share objects (like payment methods) between them. The result is that I have to create two Payment Methods: one on the Customer object and one on the Connected Account.
This isn't ideal because I also have to verify the external accounts through Financial Connections twice. It's a disjointed experience so far, and I haven't identified a good solution to this.
Yeah as far as i know you can't share payment methods there
But we also don't know very much about Treasury in here
So I really recommend asking our support team this
