I don't think it's possible to edit the initial Invoice, unfortunately.

Are you using Stripe Checkout in mode: "subscription"?

As a workaround, you could collect a Payment Method first, with Checkout in mode: "setup", and then create a Subscription with that Payment Method, and update the Invoice.

But then the customer won't see Subscription details on the Checkout Session

Hmm, Understood. I guess there is no way to do this in subscription mode. I don't think we can change the flow.
