Generally, yes the mobile Payment Sheet makes it much easier to integrate with additional payment methods. Depending on the Payment Method types there may be a bit more integration work (like some PM types require configuring a return URL).
Right, makes sense. CAn I send you a quick screenshot of our current app for context?
We have our own screen for adding and selecting payments, so we had to do a LOT of work to get Apple Pay working. So what I was asking above is if we use the Payment Element, does that mostly obviate the need for our own custom Appla Pay implementation?
You'd still need to do the steps we talk about here (https://docs.stripe.com/payments/accept-a-payment?platform=react-native&mobile-ui=payment-element#react-native-apple-pay) like regitering for an apple id, creating the certificate, as well as a bit of extra code, but yes, it should be much simpler than a custom Aple Pay integration
