@north hull Hello! We don't usually help with this but I can try and look. Do you have an exact payment id I can look at in Stripe?
I appreciate it! Here are the two payment IDs that were missed by zapier:
pi_3Ov1GmH1TU1OL4He107Da77W
pi_3Otg6ZH1TU1OL4He0mF2OLAp
Okay what Event type are you handling with Zapier?
yeah "new payment" is not really a Stripe term at all, it's a Zapier term ๐
but ultimately if you look at https://dashboard.stripe.com/events/evt_3Ov1GmH1TU1OL4He1GjGHkxI you will see that specific Event was sent to Zapier as requested
so to me it looks like Zapier dropped it on their end

@north hull does my explanation make sense?
I suppose, yes, thank you. I am trying to see how to navigate to these event pages like you showed me. If I go to the payment page, like this https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/pi_3Ov1GmH1TU1OL4He107Da77W and then click on "view event detail" I get this event page: https://dashboard.stripe.com/events/evt_1Ov1a0H1TU1OL4HeHZ8YMtsn
which is different than the one you shared, and does not show any webhooks
There are a lot of Events though and you have to look at the right one
You have to look at the payment_intent.succeeded one instead
It's the one where the text reads
The payment pi_xxxx for $xxx USD has succeeded
thank you, yes I just found it
hmm, so from your experience, do you have any idea why some instances would be dropped on zapier's end?
No idea sorry you'd have to ask Zapier. They clearly replied to our Event with a 200 or we'd have retried
so that's your next step I think to talk to their own support team
Ok thanks for the help. Also, any recommendations on what information to give zapier support to help them investigate it?
if you look in the Dashboard you can see there's a "response" from Zapier at the bottom I think right?
yes that response at the bottom is from Zapier and you can share that with them, some of those ids likely mean something to them
ok, I will do that, thanks again
