If the subscription cancellation time is reached and cancelled, Stripe will send customer.subscription.deleted event to which you can keep track whether the subscription is active: https://docs.stripe.com/billing/subscriptions/webhooks#state-changes
Before customer.subscription.deleted event is sent, subscription should be active
When I do the following, it returns Data.Count = 0
string custId = StripeSettings.GetCustomerId(familyID);
if (custId != null && custId != "")
{
var options = new SubscriptionListOptions
{
Limit = 1,
Customer = custId
};
var service = new SubscriptionService();
StripeList<Subscription> subscriptions = service.List(options);
Is there another call I can use to get the information I need to determine if the subscription is truly deleted or just waiting to be deleted until the end of the trial period?
If the invoice is truely deleted, the subscription status will be canceled: https://docs.stripe.com/api/subscriptions/object#subscription_object-status
