Hello

tall venture
#

Hi

wintry crow
#

If you just delete an item and the billing cycle doesn't change then it will prorate at the end of the cycle

tall venture
#

what do you mean by prorate at the end of the cycle?

wintry crow
#

Like a proration item is created immediately and then it will be picked up at the next billing period

#

That will give you the best understanding of behaviors here

tall venture
#

ok

tall venture
#

if I pause or cancel a subscription at the end of the cycle, how can I cancel it?

wintry crow
#

Not sure what you mean by that

#

Can you elaborate?

tall venture
#

so, we only offer our customers to pause or cancel the subscription at the end of the cycle.
Pausing the Subscription

  'pause_collection' => [
      'behavior' => 'void',
      'resumes_at' => $pauseUntil->timestamp,
  ],

Cancel the Subscription

 'cancel_at_period_end' => true,
  'cancellation_details' => [
      'feedback' => $reason,
      'comment' => $additionalInfo,
  ],

If the customer doesn't want to cancel anymore after cancellation or pause the subscription after pausing it, how do I do it?

wintry crow
#

Oh

#

For "un-cancelling" you set cancel_at_period_end to false

tall venture
#

so, the un-pause is similar to resuming the subscription

wintry crow
#

Yes

tall venture
#

when resume happens when does the customer get charged? will it use the original cycle?

wintry crow
#

Yes it would continue on the same cycle

#

As noted above, recommend testing this all out!
