Hi there bit unsure why the following https://dashboard.stripe.com/payments/pi_3On1DQLjYDcRA6KW2yCwuU5B has not sent a disputed webhook, considering it has been disputed/refunded through the bank. If this is always a failed payment general decline then ALL disputed sepa_debit payments are always failed payments and not disputed payments (in terms of your webhooks)

Did you try to reachout to the customer and double check with them if they have an ongoing dispute with you ?

There is no ongoing dispute with sepa payments, it is instantaneously approved from what I understand in your docs also

#

or am I misunderstanding what you mean

dark river
#

I inivte you to reach out to your customer and double check with them directly.

So requesting a refund through their bank is different from disputing a payment?

#

In dutch we call this 'stornering', which is essentially cancelling a payment after the fact, which I assumed is what you call a disputed payment

#

because the payment was succeeded, but then failed afterwards because of customer action, which I don't see much difference how that is not a dispute

I understand this may be quiete confusing

Ah I see that's on the charge, but on the failed payment intent it is generic decline

#

I can see the customer can still dispute it event after this debit_disputed event which has refunded the money to get double the money back

Yes.
