i've used it on other devices, it works fine
but in this case, for this phone, the app is not connecting to the reader
that message comes from your SDK but i'm not sure how to debug it

Can you have them check whether their device’s automatic time is enabled via [Settings >> General >> Date & Time >> Set Automatically]

In the past it has been possible if the phone was in an Apple beta program or used another country for an apple store account and such. Unfortunately not something I can debug live here I'm sorry 😦
