Hi, yes the guide you shared a good start. The way Connect works is that your customers pay for the services/goods and you can take portions of it to payout to the connected accounts. You may want to look at the charge type you want to build: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/charges. Also, you can look at the account types, https://docs.stripe.com/connect/accounts as well.
I think these documents are a good, and you can start looking at how you want to integrated with Stripe, https://docs.stripe.com/payments/accept-a-payment after you go through the above documents.
