sorry for taking so long, I was still investigating this, and this might be related to the fact that the Connected Account is controlled by a single platform (CBSP).
I need to investigate this even further with the internal team, and to do so if you don't mind I invite you to send us a detailed email to https://support.stripe.com/contact/email?topic=api_integration and include all of the information you shared here, and basically you can say that you've had a discussion with Tarzan on discord and share a link to our discussion for reference.
