Wait really? What do we have to do differently compared to a credit card for the payment intent?

What have you tried that isn't working exactly?

Because currently, we have a form on our website that has a setupintent to save a credit card for later using it with a payment intent.

I don't really see much documentation on this or am I searching wrong?

If it can help, I tried again a few days ago to pay at the gas pump with interac paypass and it worked perfectly, but yeah again that's just as a reference that I know it's more or less possible 😅

Sorry you're going in. multiple directions suddenly. You never mentioned SetupIntents before. Your question is whether Interac supports manual capture and yes it does

Hm, I might be confusing a few things right now indeed, sorry. Setup intents aside, with Interac, is it possible to capture and create a charge now, but capture the funds later? I'm mostly refering to this part of the docs: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/place-a-hold-on-a-payment-method

Yes it is though you want https://docs.stripe.com/terminal/payments/regional?integration-country=CA for Terminal payments and specifically Interac

I'm sorry, I'm not the dev that's actually working on this and he doesn't have discord and therefore I'm the messenger, but now I can see he didn't really test this through or even at all 🤦‍♂️
