Yeah if you want to prevent them from paying the invoices, voiding those open invoices is best

May I ask why is this not the default behavior ? Since a cancelled subscription cannot be reactivated anyway

Because those open invoices were still created and issued during their billing period

#

It's maximizing for revenue collection

#

Technically the customer still owes that money

#

But if you don't want that behavior, just void
