You can alawys call Stripe APis and fetch data
You should be using your own database for your business case
for example to store/Track additional features that Stripe doesn't provide for example...

currently i'm storing no extra features
but if i made more than 100 calls in a second will it cause rate limit?

No, You don't need to store all Stripe Data in your own database. But you use your own database when you need
