Hello

Stripe does not share the payout information in the metadata. The metadata on the PaymentIntent you see here was set by the platform when it created the PaymentIntent.

Sorry I will clarify further. I have access to the PaymentIntent object, which has a payment intent ID. Using this payment intent ID, I need to somehow get the Payout object associated with this payment intent ID (if there exists one).

Are you using automatic payouts or manual payouts?

Gotcha. I don't believe there's a way to find payout ID just from the PaymentIntent ID unfortunately.

One way I can think of is by listing all balance transactions by payout type and look at the source which should get you payout IDs
https://docs.stripe.com/api/balance_transactions/list

and then you can iterate through the IDs and retrieve charges included in the payout
https://docs.stripe.com/expand/use-cases#charges-in-payout

That's where you can compare if the charges include the payment you're looking for.
