I tried to find the API where I can make this update button appear, but without success, there is no such option within the documentation.
Hi, let me help you with this.
It's not possible to re-activate a cancelled Subscription. You will have to create a new one.
Why does the option to reactivate/renew appear in other players?
This company uses stripe as a payment method and has a button to renew the account after I have canceled. How do I insert this into my portal?
In the documentation itself, there is a reactivate subscription button on the screen, but it did not appear in our tests and we were also unable to find a setting where to activate this.
It might be that they paused the Subscription, and not cancelled completely.
and how do I add this in the customer portal settings? This option does not appear there.
I tried the suspend option, it didn't work.
On the second printing of the documentation, it is clear that it is a subscription renewal.
Oh, I see in the screenshot that it says "... will be cancelled..."
This means that the Subscription was scheduled to cancel at period end, but still active. And you can choose to undo this on Customer Portal until that date.
I guess it's the same, since you wouldn't see it in the Portal if it was actually cancelled.
