Implementing quarterly billing on the 1st of the CY quarters (1/1, 4/1, 7/1, 10/1). Also, these subs can start sometime in the middle of a quarter, so we create them with the billing cycle anchor set to the next upcoming quarter bill date to handle prorations.

Try moving that closer by a day
That's just an overall limit on timestamps, but is not a valid trial period. If you send a value <5 years away you'd get the more specific error about trial days limits
