Could you elaborate a bit where you set these?
set separate descriptors from those and your general billing descriptor.

This is just using the dashboard and setting up seperate products. If i setup as recurring it pushes the product description thru to the banks ( I tested on wells, chase, boa, discover)
here is what i mean:
i see a 404 in the browser (this is all stripe hosted stuff im just usnig the checkout links) something with api /v1 i can run another charge if that helps so i can see what it is again

Im going to end up just coding it through the checkout flow , i think these payment links are new -- and some of the code isnt working properly on your guys backend

its not working on payment links on one off it defaults back to the general descriptor.
it does work on recurring

Ok. And are you using Checkout Sessions or PaymentIntents API for one-off payments?

im just using payment links from the dash
it shows on the bank / credit card as CNTRL AI it should show DESKTOP PLUGIN
